In the small, rural town of Little Creek lives and old man by the name of Piper Jones. He spends his days fishing along the winding banks of Little Creek. To the local residents, Piper is thought to be a ‘crazy old fisherman’, but what they don’t know is that Piper is fishing for the lost innocence of childhood. To the children of Little Creek, Piper Jones is just about the best storyteller in the world.
As Piper shares each story, the children are propelled back in time to his youth. The adults of Little Creek discount the stories as mere “fairy tales”, because they can no longer see through the eyes of a child. Piper explains, “Even though you look in the mirror and no longer recognize a child staring back at you, take a look inside of your heart. It is there that you will surely find your youth tucked away in the innocence of childish imagination.”
